Letter for Switzerland with the 'Dartois-Yon1 cachet in red (used only on the 'General Uhrich1 Ballon Monte). The Napoleon laureate 30c is cancelled at Luzarches and the item bears the arrival at Chene-Bourg (Geneva). No doubt one of the most attractive items bearing this cachet and a great Ballon-Monte. Rarity.

Only nine days from its issue date the spectacular franking of 15c stamps in strips of 3 and 5 was applied to pay the rate and registration of this cover of January 9, 1863 to Milano. This is the only strip of 5 known on letter. Great Italian rarity.

This most attractive cover bears a single Provisional Government 5 cents stamp cancelled cds of Radicofani of 1860 and addressed to Celle. A rare example of such rate and franking, probably the finest of the few exiting.

Express cover from Bari of August 29, 1928 to Naples franked 50c and a postal forgery of the 1.25 lire express stamp! This is the only known postal use of this stamp.

The complete issue of 1854, a spectacular franking of 9 annas in 4 colours pays the postage on this envelope to Ireland. Curiously one other similar franking exists also addressed to Ireland and which is the greatest treasure of the Singapore Postal Museum!
